hiya,

ust has an awful 4 days in Norfolk,rain,rain,rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!We have just returned to caravanning and weare looking for a family friendly site in dorset.I have 4 girls,16 down to 4 so you can imagine its a nightmare.we have driven to south of france for last 5 years but thought we'd give this country a go this year.please help us find somewhere that will instill our faith in british caravanning.dorset or somerset would be good.Husband loves boats and beach.I love wine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Any ideas???????????

Charmouth in Dorset has a lovely beach, Lyme Regis is 5 minutes away with a lively harbour of boats ... lots of sites in the area - what sort of site did you have in mind?

Sandy Balls is and has always been a quality site ... but, its a bit up-market these days I think (with up-market prices too!!!!!)

It's not my favourite site. Too commercialised, but a lot of people with kids seem to like it.

Just returned from Sandy Balls this morn ( sat), bad weather ,but what a great site. Great ammenties including swimming indoors and out, parks, riding, good food , plenty of bars.

Cant wait to go again next year. Both kids entertained ages 10 &13
