I found a site in the campsite search of a site in somerset which I liked the look of. I forgot to add it to my virtual brochure and now I can't find it.  All I can remember is that the site had seperate fields , each with its own warden.this appealed to me as I thought it would be safer for kids.  Can anyone point me in the direction of this site?  PLEASE.

Some friends of mine have camped somewhere in Bridgwater, which is very child friendly, you could try a search on that.

I was going to suggest Unity too as I remember each field had it's own warden - but then each field was as big as most campsites that we usually stay on anyway!!!!! Wasn't my "cup of tea" but others love the place.

Our kids loved Unity farm and even asked to go here rather than Mallorca!!!

HERE

There is a warden for each field as said and each field is large I think there are over 100 plots on the green field! we had Y91 which was a very long pitch with no one in opposite. Yellow field has hard standing and I think non elec pitches for tents ( new loo block) and nearest to the leisure park. Green feild nice loo block train in the evening to the leisure park and back, nearish to the park for the kids. Brown field is through Green and the loos/showers are portacabin style.

We went just before the kids broke up for school hols so was a bit quieter, but weve also been twice at Aug bank hols. Not a quiet site in high season and you sometimes get noise at night, but the wardens are there to sort out any problems.

Main reasons for going there is it's not far for us, shower(free) and toilet facilities are excellent. Washing machines and tumble dryers that are so quick. Free session of swimming every day. Everything is there- take it or leave it.

Our kids never went to the kids clubs and we never sampled the entertainment-too busy!!! Going to Wooky hole, Longleate, cheddar and the cider farms

Best thing about August is the Pig and Donkey racing on a Tues eve. Best fun there is. We even went back for the evening to watch and take part in this.

Thanks for all the info guys.  I did at last find it, it is called Warren Farm but you have given me plenty of food for thought.  Will check out the other places mentioned.

Thanks Again
