Hi Becky,

We have just returned after spending a week at Wolds Way. They do have a washing machine and a tumble dryer, but they are just the 'normal' household size. Same tumble dryer as I have at home. They take 20p and £1 coins, I put a £1 in the dryer and got an hour and a half drying time, which means I could put more than one load in if they weren't that wet, and 60p did a quick wash.

Hope this helps.

Thats great thanks. Did you like the site? We are going next week and I am really looking forward to it. Any tips for things to do in the area?

Hi Becky,

The site was lovely, but the drive up the hill to get there is a little bit bumpy, but all I can say about the views when your up there is WOW and I want a house built on the top of it :) There are pics on my profile.

Like all of the reviews say, the site is excellent and I couldn't fault it. The bath was a godsend for our 3 year old, she hates showers, although they were great.

Excellent facilities on site, in the main room there was 2 sinks for washing up, fridge/freezer, microwave and t.v. On Site shop selling basics, but cheaper than going to the village. Plenty of 1p sweets to keep the kids happy. It's the little touches that make this site special, as you will find out when you get there. There is a Morrison's in Malton if you need it.

We went to Flamingo Land, Eden Camp, York and had a day on the beach at Scarborough, never managed to get to Castle Howard this time, but I think I will use this as an excuse to go back.

Wow it looks great from your pics. Is that cute cow there too?

We are coming from Kings Lynn. Really looking forward to it now. We will be going to Flamingo Land because we got vouchers. Not sure if castle Howard is suibtable because our kids are so young. We love Scaborough and plan to try Filey too.

That about accounts for the whole week!
