Theres absolutley loads to do in this area, I live down the road and often go on this road to see my mum.
theres chatsworth house a stately home with museum and gardens,
theres flamingo land - theme park
also eden camp - an old POW museum
theres lots in York - lovely place (I'll let you find out for yourself)
and the east coast is only a 30 - 45 minute drive away for Scarborough Bridlington Filey etc.....
its a lovely place
where are you coming from?
------------- As one door closes another one opens.. sometimes you need to spend a little time in the room thats all..
Do whats right and right will become of you ;-) Nichola xx

Hi Becky,
The site was lovely, but the drive up the hill to get there is a little bit bumpy, but all I can say about the views when your up there is WOW and I want a house built on the top of it :) There are pics on my profile.
Like all of the reviews say, the site is excellent and I couldn't fault it. The bath was a godsend for our 3 year old, she hates showers, although they were great.
Excellent facilities on site, in the main room there was 2 sinks for washing up, fridge/freezer, microwave and t.v. On Site shop selling basics, but cheaper than going to the village. Plenty of 1p sweets to keep the kids happy. It's the little touches that make this site special, as you will find out when you get there. There is a Morrison's in Malton if you need it.
We went to Flamingo Land, Eden Camp, York and had a day on the beach at Scarborough, never managed to get to Castle Howard this time, but I think I will use this as an excuse to go back.
