We are looking for camp site near to Weymouth for end of August (we being, me, mrs and 2 kids) Have read the reviews on West Fleet Farm and seem to be quite good, the latest review is May 06. Has anybody been there since with any info, or does somebody know of other sites that come with recommendations.
It seems as some of the camp sites in the area have various little issues, i,e Loos, owners attitudes... etc etc. But i belive the best review would be to come from somebody that has recentley stayed at one of them.
Any suggestions will be welcomed.
Thanks all

East Fleet at Weymouth is every bit as good as the reviews, we were there last week, can not fault it. I have left a review, but dont think it there yet.
We enjoyed Osmington Mills when we was there at the begining of the summer hols. It's the other side of Weymouth to Chesil. Wouldn't be evryone's cup of tea as it is on a hill. Couldn't fault the loos washing up, staff etc. Our 4 kids had a whale of a time
I'm the same as familyof4 and have stayed at East Fleet. I have also left a review but if you want a pitch anywhere bank holiday you had better book ASAP as you will find it hard to find somewhere as it is the last decent weekend for tents weather wise.

Thanks all, have read the reviews and now im really stumped mrs likes both of them, guess its gonna be a toss of the coin or 2 weeks in Mallorca next to the marina, blue skys, gorgeous sun, sandy beaches....... NO its definatley camping
we stayed at east Fleet last week.... wish I was there right now it was lovely, could'nt fault it, very popular tho you may be lucky to get on, we tried to go a day early but our pich was'nt available. Rosie
Another campsite that might be worth a look for you is Bagwell Farm. I am very fussy when it comes to having clean toilets and showers etc and this I can say was fine. Pitches were on a slope but did not cause any problems and were relatively large pitches. Journey to Weymouth was about 15-20 mins and well worth it lovely sandy beach. We came across a lovely beach in our travels called Ringstead Bay quite a scary car ride down a steep hill but well worth it when you get there. Nice little cafe to get coffee's and ice creams. Car park charge for the day if I remember correctly was about £3.50.
