Several round there - I'd recommend Vale of Pickering - not the closest but pretty tent friendly (assuming your going in a tent!)

We visit Black Bull and Uppercarr both 10 min drive from Flamingo Land, I don`t know if there full for the Bank holiday.

Flamingoland does accept tents on its own site.  You pay once to buy a pass which lets you into the theme park for the rest of your stay.
