Can anyone please help, I have tried hundreds of campsites for bank holiday weekend Thurs til Monday (Yes I know I have left it late!!) but none have availability! Has everyone decided to take up camping this year? Does anyone have any ideas, we are looking at West or South Wales, or North/South Devon. Thanks.

Wish I could help ...welcome to a great site ....you have obviously looked through these :
........we camped in france in the steaming heat .and decided to go for the less obvious campsites .away from the beach .might be worth trying smaller quieter sites away from the main tourist areas??
Thanks, yes think I phoned or e-mailed every site on the link page, usually get lucky but not this time! Tent won't even fit in back garden so even THAT'S not an option!
Have you tried cofton county park near dawlish in devon thats a huge site they have their own web page if you use the search engine you should be able to find it.

Aberyskwyth HOliday Village did have non electric pitches, if search on the map Wales and Ceredigon or something like that. Owner is very helpful! Good luck in your search.

Cofton is a nice site. Very good pitches - when we went our neighbours made us a cup of tea whilst we pitched and let us shelter in their awning in a short shower. Good memories of a really hot week!
