http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1303 Hi We stayed here during 2004 (the floods at Boscastle etc), oh joy. Site owner very friendly and helpful. Bude and Widemouth are close at hand but you need a car to get around. Lots of woods / nature trails on site and a games room with a telly in it (where we watched the floods during the thunder storms). I think there is a place down by Watermouth called Newberry Farm, definately a berry in it! That was a nice quite and clean site and the staff were helpful. Have also stopped on Woolacombe Bay site, they put us on a hard standing pitch when we had the big frame tent, again you need a car to get around. Other than that we back to Bude - Cranstar holidays, good deals you don't pay for the kids! Nice site and you can walk up to the cliffs and go to a small bay if you turn right on to the path, or turn left and wander down to Bude. Or you can walk down the road to both places! We used to make a round trip out over the cliffs and back via the road. Thats all the insight I can give on North Devon. Regards
