Hiya
My family and I are off to Oakdene, Ringwood on the Sunday of August BH wkend with our Hartford XL. Just wondering what the pitch sizes are like, im having a last min panic attack as we will be arriving Sunday and I know the site is now full.
Can anyone advise, thanx.

is it worth the panic  if you are in a panic give the site a ring and confirm the booking mentioning the size of pitch, shure all will be fine.

I wouldn't worry, the tent pitches aren't marked out from what I remember.

do you know your pitch number????
you can have a look on the website and see where you will be pitched. the pitches arent huge but not the smallest ive seen either. which field are you in do you know??? i saw a khyam rigipod type tent pitched there with room to spare too.

Back from Oakdene and a good time had by all, no problem with the tent size but must mention that the ground was a mega problem, had to purchase special pegs, it was very stoney and worst of all my two year old had a great time rolling on the dusty ground and getting in a terrible state. Would not go back as the tent and us felt filthy during our stay (never stayed at a site like it i've come home from festivals cleaner!).
