Hello,

Does anyone know of a campsite in the East/West Sussex area that will allow a group of 15-20 people who wishes to play music (till late at night). We don't wish to irritate other campers, so some place where we can hide away a bit, perhaps by a beach.

Run cottage touring park. Woodbridge Suffolk

Earlier in the year they held a ukelele festival on the site and was very successful in the organisation and execution of a musical event.

Joannasim

Every weekend groups gather here at The Orchard Campsite Suffolk.

Often they sit around the communal camp fire for an evening of jamming.

You will need to book though.

Hi,

I`m really confused now as someone on the "adult only sites" thread has just recommended Run Cottage, someone then said that they do allow children .I`ve just looked at their web-site and it looks a lovely park that prides itself on its tranquility, so I may have been tempted to go there in term-time and a site like that probably wouldn`t get that many children anyway.

But now bruce 2000 is recommending it to a group of young people wishing to play music late into the night! I suppose if there was enough of them they could book the whole site. But I`ll definitely give it a miss now.

And no offence to George Formby but I`m glad I didn`t turn up at the ukelele festival ! Although I expect the whole site was booked for this.

I`m waffling again so I`ll go now

                                                                          Sue
