....a campsite-(Tents) on Anglesey, that will allow me to have a small open fire and or BBQ.

Stayed on the Island once before, it was a couple of years ago and the place we stayed at let us have a fire.

I think it was near Benllech on the East coast of the Island, as for the name of the site it escapes me.

Very new to camping so be gentle.....Cheers Matt.

Oh and hello! to all at UK Campsiters, I hope to be using this site alot in the future.

Hi Matt,

Welcome to ukcs its the best web-site ever.

Have you looked on the campsite search, there`s about 4 pages of campsites on Anglesey. You might find the one you stayed at before.

Hopefully you`ll get more replies later, a lot of us will be away now till Monday. Not me though I`ll spend most of my weekend on here!

Thanks Sue.

I looked at the campsite search, and non of them rang any bells, thats why I thought I'd post a message.

It wasn't a big site by any means, even when we stayed there last time we just stumbled upon it....which as I'm sure you know is sometimes the best way.

                            Matt.

Hi Matt.

Upon seeing your member name (The Frodster) you don't happen to live in Frodsham?

Small world if you do!!

Try Rhosneigr, its on the west coast though,  three sites, two i can recomend, one called Shoreside and the other is up Sandy lane (forgotten the site name) both will let you have well controlled fires. The kids and I have some great trips there!!
