 Hi,

Does anyone out there know of any campsites in Cleethorpes other than Thorpe Park?  We always go to Skegness and Ingoldmells where theres loads to choose from but whenever we've looked into going to Cleethorpes the only one which ever comes up on a search of camp sites is always Thorpe Park!  Whilst this is a nice site it is somewhat expensive due to the facilities included but we only want a pitch with electric and we'd like to wander off site and maybe go bike riding.  Anyone who knows of any other sites in the area we would be most grateful for the info!

Kind regards to all and Happy Bank Holidays!!

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Are you a member of the Caravan Club?  They have a couple of CLs 2 miles inland from Cleethorpes with EHU but no other facilities.  I think there is a cycle-lane into town from these sites.  Alternatively, depending on when you want to visit, the Camping and Caravan Club run a temporary holiday site at the Tertia Trust, Cleethorpes, but unfortunately without electric.  There is also the Cleethorpes Showground with EHU, which has various club rallies who sometimes have spare pitches for non-members, but you have to turn-up on spec.

If you're still looking Lou+Mick, Thorpe Park have on their late deals page, Friday till Monday £31 for a EuroPitch (down from £76), this is worth paying just for the pitch and the actual campsite facilities without using the entertainment centre at all.  I have just booked next weekend there, but I will be using the entertainment due to having a 5 and 6 year old with me.  They also have a normal EHU pitch for the following few weekends for less money but they only have Europitches available for this coming weekend.

Oddly, when I did a search for 2 nights Friday till Sunday it came up with £62, so its worth booking the 3 night pitch and staying all day Sunday instead of vacating your pitch at the usual 10 a.m.
