Well she has lost a lot of business now due to just being awkward.

she even give us a wave on the way out with a little smile.
it was a shame because we thought it was a lovely site to.
plenty of play area for the kids and a big field for the dogs to run about.
didn,t know about the electric as we were all ready packed up what a cheek.
ps sorry billie for calling norman billie it just came out haha

me and joe both answer to billie or joe - people sometimes can't figure out which is which, and now we've got Norman he's just joining in the confusion!

i have had a call from the owners husband this morning, and he explained a few things to me.

he said that his wife had been very upset by a couple of people in our group. firstly, they said they had to pick up lots of dog mess left behind - now i know this is true because a couple of people had already said they had seen it everywhere and there was some near the trampoline when we were leaving. apparently someone had been rude to his wife when she had mentioned this to them - this might not have been the same person responsible for the mess.

also, the recycling bins weren't used by everyone - they had to go through everyones rubbish and sort it out - i know most people did recycle but there must have been 1 or 2 that didn't bother. again, in fairness, not a nice job.

the shower problem, he said, was caused by someone putting £1 coin in the slot, and he said they did try to get someone out to look at them, but understandably on a bank holiday - not an easy thing to do.

he did explain that his wife may have said some things in the heat of the moment, but she was very upset by all of the above, and he said he turned off the electricity because he had had enough.

i didn't even read the signs that are up in the washroom area, but apparently, they have a dogs on leads at all times policy, a departure time of midday i think he said, and a re-cycling policy too.

after speaking to him i can understand why maybe his wife acted in the way she did and i will alter my review - after all, i did spend the whole weekend saying what a lovely site it is.

ooh and before i forget - the worst thing he said was that when they went to their freezer this morning - someone had unplugged it yesterday and all the stuff in it had defrosted!
i can't think anyone with us would have done that - hope not anyway!

i did say to him that i hadn't seen the notices because i didn't go into the washroom - he agreed that was fair comment. i also said that instead of turning off the electricity he could have come around and told us there was a departure time - he agreed this might have been a better way of dealing with it, but, again in the heat of the moment...........................

i think there were maybe mistakes made on both sides, and tempers got out of hand - anyway as he said, it's history now, water under the bridge.

So thats where the water from the showers went...eh !!!.... Ho !! and thanks Marquey and Claire and all our M8's ...we had a fab weekend , sorry if i did anything daft on the saturday night.. but i hadn't had a drink for 6 weeks and it went to my heed...

Later yeah !!!!!!!!

I'm still suffering after drinking those Black Russians on Sunday night!!
