Hi, Hubby going to work in Beccles (Norfolk/Suffolk) in afew weekends time, so we're all going (me and the 3 girls)  and taking the tent for a bit of girlie adventure of our own.

Anyone been? Anyone tell me what the other listed sites are like, as they've no reviews? The one by the river doesn't sound like it's worth £20 per night!

Please advise and tell me of places to visit that that would be good for my 3, 4 and 12 year old.

Sorry, have not been!! However do think £20 a night at this time of year sounds a lot. We paid £15.90 a night in Torquay over the bank holiday and it was agreat site!!

Have a great time where ever you end up.

   You'll enjoy it, Beccles is a lovely town with nice friendly people... I assume you're talking about the 'River Waveney Centre' haven't stayed there, but apparently it has everything you need, which is just as well, as it's a bit remote. If you stay there, take plenty of change as everything (showers, laundry, pool, leisure centre etc.) is charged extra for... Another nice site in the area is 'Little Lakeland', which is in the lovely quiet village of Wortwell (about 10 miles west of Beccles), it is surrounded by lovely countryside walks and has a small 'play area' with swings etc. for the kids. There are shops and a 'Budgen' supermarket in Harleston about 2 miles away...
