Having defected from Haven etc and being new to the camping game, can I ask for some suggestions for a tent camp site in Dorset for a summer holiday in 2007? I know it's a way off but I would rather be booked somewhere decent than have to scrape around. There will be 2 adults and two kids (5 and 8), probably the dog (though kennels an option), with the Aspen 700 DLX, preferably with EHU, near a (good) beach, good facilities (pool, play area, somewhere for the kids to ride bikes etc). If there's a crack team from Vango to put the tent up so much the better but this is optional! All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

We must be experts - we are out standing in our chosen fields!

Wareham forest is a good site, not far from the coast, lovely woodland site with plenty of woodland trails to wander on direct in the forest( ideal to bike in) outdoor pool, small shop, spotless facilities.
East Fleet Farm Weymouth should fit the bill we stayed there this year it was lovely and in a ideal location as there are so many places within easy driving distance, look at the reviews

Pear Tree farm in Organford gets good write ups too. Not been for years personally but it was always fab when we were kids. Not commercialised but well run and near to Poole and the beaches etc.
Hi. We stayed at East Fleet Farm last year with our Aspen 700. As Marpin says this is a good site. The shower/wash facilities were always very clean and there are three or four family bathrooms which are handy with children. The site is just outside Weymouth and there is a bus service from the site. I think that we had to pay extra because we needed a big pitch for the Apsen....make sure you ask for a bigger pitch if you decide on this site as some of the pitches were not that big! Forgot to say that there is a childrens play area, shop and a bar which only opens up for the summer period I think. I can't remember if dogs are allowed on the site but if you check out their web site I am sure it will tell you.
