Hi all!

We're thinking of taking the camper-van up to Scotland to see the parents in Montrose.

Can anyone recommend any campsites in Scotland which are A+ for wheelchair users?

We want to explore the wilds of Scotland but don't want to get caught out with sites which say they are disable friendly (ie suitable for infirm granny par-say)  but impractial / unsuitable for wheelchairs!

Any comments would be appreciated!

Hi Nomates

The Camping and Caravan Club Big Sites book has varying symbols for different levels of disabled amenities from "walking wounded/infirm" to full wheelchair access so it might be worth joining if you're not already a member and then perhaps talking to the sites.

If my memory serves me right I think Glen Nevis in Fort William has good facilities,worth a phone call if you fancy the area.
