Popped across to Cosgrove Park near Milton Keynes  to have a look around and was amazed that they no longer accept TTs and tents, couldnt believe it ,its all statics and caravans with awnings not one tent how long has it been like that as i spent many a weekend  up there with my family in the 80-90s and it seems a shame they have gone down that road, all the camping fields are gone and replaced with the said statics and block paving...pity.

Anyone gotany memories of Cosgrove when it was a "campsite" ?

Hello Kevk sorry you were disappointed.

I don't like sites that do not allow tents even though we have a campervan.  I like the mix of 'homes from home' as it gives a nice atmosphere to look at all the different outfits.

So I won't be going.  I also dislike sites that are mainly statics - perhaps I am just fussy.  i would have a tent but the OH is not well enough and he needs the comfort of the van.

Romaway

Yes its a shame really, seems that it is in new ownership so Im told and its the way camp sites are going inland, the new owners invest in an area and make as much money as they can while steamrolling us campers out the way
