Hi

We've just been here and stayed in a static caravan(ok but bit dated) so not sure about any of the camping facilities. But what I would tell you is that if your taking kids you will need a bucket load of money cos the 'entertainment' complex is full of amusements and other things that the kids love and they aren't cheap!! The pool is okay, nothing special, play areas and footie pitch quite good.

The Galaxy bar has got entertainment on all night and it's a bit dodgy to say the least - defintley X factor rejects!

Filey, which is only 2 miles away is a nice little village with a lovely beach if you get good weather like this weekend it's worth a visit.

We had a good time(saying as it was a £9.50 Sun holiday!) but won't be rushing back until the whole place has had a face lift like Primrose Valley down the road.

we went last year, took 4 kids, and they all had a great time, but you will need money as some of it can be pricey, there is a market and carboot sale close by, which is pretty good, plus filey is lovely, we went there a few times on the night time

hi its a haven site it does exactly what it says on the tin lol the touring site is vast with some pretty uneven pitches if you have booked hard standing you should be fine it is also a bit of a walk to the clubs from the tourers but apart from that its good hope you enjoy it and get the weather

it's a really good site the entertainment for the kids is spot on if you do have any problems the on site staff are really helpfull and will sort it out straight away (i have seen a few people kicked off for being to noisey at night after 11.30) try and limit the kids on the machines and youll have a great time :)

p.s the baths can get really busy at peak times

If you take a trip into Scarborough I can defo recommend (for night out):-

Oasis Cafe - North shore prom - looks shabby but brill fish & chips &

Tricolos - In the town centre - Italian restaurant - Only ever had 1 bad meal there and as I complained they gave it me for free as well as re-cooking our order.

Corrigans Arcade on the front.  Ok it'll cost you especially with kids but our get about £2-3 of 2ps and spend ages in there.

Sorry if recommendations relate to offsite but you may fancy a wander!

Mike J

following from mikes post  I recomend a boat trip going on the Coronia out into the bay ,sit up on top deck and watch out for seals and puffins and odd porpoise if lucky , the captain usually points things out if he sees them too and its good value for the money , last time we were there we went on it every day .was lovely and sunny though
