Hi
We've just been here and stayed in a static caravan(ok but bit dated) so not sure about any of the camping facilities. But what I would tell you is that if your taking kids you will need a bucket load of money cos the 'entertainment' complex is full of amusements and other things that the kids love and they aren't cheap!! The pool is okay, nothing special, play areas and footie pitch quite good.
The Galaxy bar has got entertainment on all night and it's a bit dodgy to say the least - defintley X factor rejects!
Filey, which is only 2 miles away is a nice little village with a lovely beach if you get good weather like this weekend it's worth a visit.
We had a good time(saying as it was a £9.50 Sun holiday!) but won't be rushing back until the whole place has had a face lift like Primrose Valley down the road.

If you take a trip into Scarborough I can defo recommend (for night out):-
Oasis Cafe - North shore prom - looks shabby but brill fish & chips &
Tricolos - In the town centre - Italian restaurant - Only ever had 1 bad meal there and as I complained they gave it me for free as well as re-cooking our order.
Corrigans Arcade on the front. Ok it'll cost you especially with kids but our get about £2-3 of 2ps and spend ages in there.
Sorry if recommendations relate to offsite but you may fancy a wander!

------------- It'll work out in the end!!!!
I didn't do it !! Nobody saw me do it !! You can't prove anything !!
