We're looking for a site in North Devon similar to Magic Cove (which is fully booked for the weeks we want).  We want a basic site, not bothered about a club or park, but would like to be fairly close to the beach and it also has to allow dogs.  Any ideas out there please as getting fed up of looking through the campsite search????

WE have not actually stayed here yet, but have been to have a look and thought it was just up our street (fishing).

I'd recommend Warcombe Farm too - it takes dogs - has a dog walking field with lovely views and the closest beach - Woolacombe - is only a mile or two away and that allows dogs in the summer too.

It isn't a small site but feels like it because there are so many hedges and separate smaller areas and pitches surrounded by hedges and no entertainment or pool so not a noisy place.

So clean and well looked after too and nice people all round.

Another vote for Warcombe Farm here.  We have also camped at Lobb Fields in Braunton but I can't recall whether dogs are allowed (sorry!).  But a very nice site anyway!
