We're going to Blue Dolphin at Half term camping. At least if weather is really bad there is still plenty to do with the kids

I agree it's still a great place for kids

Yes there is a lot to do at Blue Dolphin if the weather is bad but at that time of year the pitches are normally unpitchable. I went two years ago and i rang on the Thursday before i went on the saturday and was told there would be no problem, promptly arrived saturday and was told i could not pitch as they were all flooded or waterlogged so had to find another site.

The site had not been used all the previous week but we were not told that they wanted everybody there for half term but it did not work out.

Did they give you a refund??

I'm going with the idea if the weathers that bad we can always come home staying Sun to Thurs only paid £26 with Elec so if were washed out haven't lost too much

Yes we managed to get a refund after a bit of a disagreement with the reception staff but only given a credit note for any haven park

We stayed at Primrose Valley a few years ago,we wnet for 5 days in a static,got a very good deal hired a private one.We went for Halloween it was fantastic,they did all the concert rooms out and the entertainment was wicked on that evening.There was entertainment just as normal on other nights but not much going of in the day for the kids as in getting entertained.The pool was still open though.Hope this answers ya questions
