I belong to a group of families who meet up once or twice a year. Some of us camp, others are happier in a mobile home or even a Travelodge (ugh!). We like somewhere either onsite or nearby where we can take the children (all ages). And it needs to be fairly central.

Question 2. This year we thought we'd have a Northern meet and a southern meet. Northern is probably somewhere between Yorkshire and North Wales. Southern might be the South coast, or outside London if the facilities were right.

All suggestions would be very welcome,

thanks

Liz

Had to get rid of your blue face.  Have you thought about York for the Northern meet ? Loads of great campsites around the city and a really nice place to visit too.

If you do decide on York, you will get lots of advice from members on sites to go to.

Northern meet why not try the east coast. Some excellent sites right up from Skegness going north. You will be able to find the accommodation types that you stated. This is the drier side of Britain. For the southern meet (if you must ) what about the new forest area. Expensive down there though.

Relax. You can do too much too soon.

Thanks lincsimpcamper & fatlad,

Some of us live down here in the first place or we wouldn't need a southern meet LOL! Will see what we can find from Skegness upwards. And the new Forest sounds pretty lush.

thanks again

Liz
