Does anyone know of anywhere in the Yorkshire area -[pref north yorks] that is particularly good for winter camping. We have no problem with camping in the cold but do not particularly like sites which become very boggy easily- only other requirements are nice, clean showers/toilets and reasonably close ale and grub!
Any ideas anyone? From what I can tell nearly all the camp sites in the area are closed for winter.
