Hi,

Has anyone been to the 'Eden Camp' a museum at Scarborough....I was wondering what it was like.....if any good......it also says on the web site that dogs ae allowed in to certain parts.  Any feed back would be welcome.....thanks.

Eden Camp is in Malton,it is well worth a visit to the museum,UKCS have had many rallies there and we are going in December again.

I do not know about the dogs but it would be worth just to give them a ring!!

My friend is always going on about Eden Camp, she says I would love it, and you can take dogs. Have a look on their web-site it`s got all the information you need.We`ve never been to Yorkshire but when we do go eventually Eden Camp will be on top of my list of places to visit, my friend says they do some delicious meals there, I doubt that dogs can go in the restaurant though, so hubby will just have to sit outside and wait for me!

I`ve been twice, the first time my youngest son kindly volunteered me to go on a school trip with his year as a helper!! I ended up in charge of a group of 6 ten year old lads - but what a great day out. I was really impressed with the place but didn`t get chance to take it all in properly. So the following year we went as a family and had a fantastic day out.

Now the kids have grown up we are even thinking of going again on our own.

I absolutely recommend it as a great day out for people of all ages.

Been twice, once with charlie once with the kids and bob our labrador who was only 16 weeks old at the time who got really tired, and fell asleep while we were walking through the huts!  If we stopped to read anything he wouldn't get up by the end of the afternoon.  It's a really good day out.
