We are off to Keswick- The local tourist info will have loads of walks I also use a site called www.walkingworld.co.uk or com can't remember which. If you go to find walks and type in Hawkshead it will give you different length walks. You have to subscribe to the site I think it is about £17 per year but we have used it loads of times and it has been well worth it and you save that money in maps alone as you can print them from the site after you subscribe.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I can recommend the food at the Queens Head pub in Hawkshead (scrummy sunday lunch). There a great walk in nearby Sawrey called Claife Heights, park in the Sawrey Arms car park (they don't mind as long as you pop in for a beer!) and follow the footpath sign near the phone box - great views of windermere. Also try High Dam near stott park bobbin mill and the east side of windermere, not many folks know this walk and it's lovely.
Have a great time in this lovely part of the lakes.
Hi can deffo back up carolines recommendation , walkingworld is brilliant , we wouldn't be without it .well, well worth the 17 quid a year. We've stayed here too , great site, there is a tourist information centre in the village and they have singular walks for sale very cheap.
