I run a reptile forum and a group of us would like to meet for a weekend. Not a rowdy lot but up til late chatting would probably be on the agenda (with a few tinnies).

Does anyone know of any camp sites in the middlands or central england/southeast wales that would acomodate us?

Most sites say not for groups. The only thing we want is to be able to bring dogs and possibly shower. Only one or two nights so showers could be missed. (ewww).

Are you sure that you only bring dogs? What about snakes lizzards and crocs etc. perhaps when you tell the sites the group name that puts them off.

There are loads of sites that don't mind groups, we very often go away in a group of twelve. Quite a lot of the sites we've been to under my profile.

Most sites say not for groups.

A lot of sites say no single sex groups because they can attract the rowdy element.   Few sites object to mixed groups though.  If you have any problems just say you want to book a rally.

Yes this site is a good one, we've been here as a group of five vans too, what I would add is that you may get a surprise when you see the loos, they are, ...................well,..... chicken sheds, nice clean ones I may add and have never been used by chickens.

Joking apart, they were very clean and the showers are in a proper building.
