Next year there will be 10 of us camping in just 1 tent but some sites are saying the maximum no of people per pitch is only 8. Does anyone know of any family sites in Devon or Cornwall that will accomodate 10 of us in just 1 tent?

even if its a huge tent say 12 berth i think its still a squash

we have 9 berth for 5 of us and thats just right

hope you all get on

and no-one wants their leg over !!!

well, their is a campsite which isn't on here, called hartland village campsite which is really nice, it ajoins onto a lovely village stuck in the 60s (think heartbeat in the south), and has a large field, a really nice toilets, is always quiet and is pretty lax on the amount of people. it also has a fishing lake. if you want the details (its fairly near bideford), please ask.

they're nice people and they won't object to you phoning. oh yes, and its a very cheap campsite, only £8.50 a night for 5 of us, but that doesn't compromise on facilities!

Also, go to reviws and  have a look at Harford Bridge near Tavistock. Stayed there twice this year.
