hi sue
fantastic site. handy for edinburgh, just jump on the park and ride. edinburgh is a beautiful place.
from the site you walk across one field (carpark) and you are in the sand dunes that lead to the beach. there are miles and miles of clean, empty beautiful beach. three islands one of them is bass island. scenery is fantastic.
north berwick is about 2 to 3 miles up the beach, but you will not notice the walk there is that much to see and explore. north berwick is luvverly little town.
i don't play golf, but i can see why golfers like this area. there is a course every mile and they are real courses not the pitch and puts they have round our end.
the only problem we had was we only went for a week. it's not long enough. one day travelling to the site and one day back only leaves 5 days. its a long way to go for 5 days.
next time we go it will be for longer.
enjoy

small world isn't it , we are in kiddy. we will be stopping at moffat on our way up then on to mallaricky bay(luss) to see relatives in glasgow, then onto yellowcraig towards the end of june, then might go back to moffat or try somewhere else new or even go to melrose , another nice site. that is the joy of caravanning , going where and when you want to, as long as you let those sites you have booked that you will be staying on where you are, or going another route home, they really don't mind, but if as in june /july you have paid a deposit, then you lose that.will be keeping our eyes open for you, and if we miss you do have a great time in what we think is the greatest place on earth.

hi Jerry and Tina, Have you been to presthope caravan club site,£6 a night last year, might be £7 now. just outside much wenlock and an easy drive into bridgnorth for the market ect. you can walk from the site into much wenlock village, lovely little place use to be the station, you can pitch on what is left of the platforms. no showers or such here, but electric hook-ups and water. lovely dog walk too. woods across the road for further walking up on to the ridge where you can see for miles around, and you can also walk along the old railway from the site and down a small lane just to the left of the site entrance. there are maps in the little office . it's a very popular place so you have to book, more so around bank holiday's ect.i have stayed there for a week with my sister and her youngsters and it was bliss, so quiet, going into shrewsbury to swim and a walk inthe park, and into much wenlock for a curry, can't be beat!!!
