Hi All
It's Grant's Missus.
We've read the reviews for Carradale Bay Caravan Park and it sounds really fab. Has anywone been there recently or near the end of last year's season? Was it as good as it looks on their web site? Did anyone take their dog there?
We really fancy going, but it's a long way to go (we're in the Scottish Borders) to find out it's all really smoke and mirrors.
Please let me know what you thought of the place and surroundings.
Thanks.
LL

Hello Mrs Grant,
We havent been but my Mrs fancies Muasdale and in fact thats where we will be heading in July. Same part of the world I believe!
Muasdale is lovely right on the edge of the beach, the owners are lovely. It isn't a massive site but the views are so good and just watching the sea is relaxing. There is a family of seals that seem to appear every evening and often some swans swim along too. As it is on West coast you can watch the sun set.
There are otters but we haven't been fortunate enough to see them.
The ferry trip to Gigha is worth it and some lovely gardens to explore.
We also enjoyed the Owl Centre in Campbelltown.
Muasdale's little shop is lovely with lots of variations of local and not so local beers.
