Hi, stayed at polmanter park in St Ives last year and have booked to go back this year. What we liked about polmanter was that the pitches were marked out with small hedge rows, which stopped anyone pitching next to you.
Are there any more sites like polmanter with marked pitches that are 1-4 hours drive from the midlands (wolverhampton) will go pretty much anywhere.
thanks for your help.
Neil.
p.s we use a tent.

Hi nwestwood, if you fancy a trip to the Lowestoft area could recommend Heathland Beach. Majority of the pitches marked by low level hedging / fencing, facilities fantastic and only five minutes walk from a beach
Hi nwestwood, we stayed at Sun Haven Valley in Mawgan Porth, near Newquay last summer.
This site had marked out pitches too which we thought was brilliant, their facilities were amazing too so you may want to check them out. Might be looking at a bit more than 4 hours drive though!
Question from an Aussie/new member. What are pitches? I assume it's the area you use, we call them sites. I'd ring a caravan park and ask to book a site, so you would ask to book a pitch?

Yep, what Steve said! A 'site' over here is the whole camping ground, which will have on it the individual pitches (plus things like amenity blocks, services etc.)
Welcome aboard. Oh yeah, and don't mention the cricket, eh mate!!
