Hi does anyone know how tight the entrance to this site is. I have a Avondale Godiva 556-6 and was wondering if I would be able to get on this site without damaging my caravan

This campsite is about 2 minutes from my house - I pass it often enough but have never been down to the site so couldn't comment on the entrance - seen the direct in off of the main road - it's quite a big entrance.

If you want, I can take a photograph of the entrance and some going down into the main site if you need to

Tent myself so I haven't a clue about your caravan spec. - sorry

Let me know

Cooky

We have been there, can't remember how big the drive was I think it was qite tight, but there were plenty of vans and tourers there.

It's a bu**ar to get down and steep on a semi unmade road - the turning area and site is at the bottom of this hill - do NOT go into the tent field which is the first gateway you come to.  Our Pathfinder only just made it in and out and we had to come back up the hill to turn round. Talk about 'breath in'!

sbond219

Won't be able to nip down until the weekend - dark when I go to work and dark when I come home!!! I'll take some images and some video footage as well. If you pm me so I've got your address then I can e-mail them when i've done them - saves other people reading back and forwards e-mails.

HD9 is my postcode to - this site is the nearest to that postcode. I know one or two others further afield but this is definitely the nearest.
