I am searching and searching reading review after review and am just so tempted to return to our first ever site we tried in our tent last year which was 'Roseville' at Goonhavern.

Can anyone give a good reccomendation for a site in/around Crantock/Perranporth areas......what we need:

NO BAR/ENTERTAINMENT
Childs Play Area
Dogs Welcome
Local Beach allows dogs(Crantock/Perranporth do I know)
Quiet family site with all round good facilities

Any suggestions would be appreciated as I just feel I am going round in circles now

Thanks in advance

Have you had a look at Newperran at Goonhavern we went there loads when I was a kid and and loved it. The other site I know has access to beach is the site at st ives. I have booked Polamter at St Ives but it is a twenty min to half hour walk into the town.

I know what you mean when I started to look I was absolutley boggled and some of the website are rubbish.

I wanted to go to perrenporth but could not find a site with easy access to town or pub off site.

Give Mike & Anna Parris a call at Polgarth Farm, Trevellas. They're in the CC book, or e-mail me for their telephone number. One of the best kept secrets in Cornwall. You'll love it. Tell them Stu & Syb sent you!

OOh can I find any details of them online at all ? Would really like to have a look at site etc ??

Failing that can you give me a review/summary about the site in general.

I presume they could send me their brochure ?

Thanks

Dogs not allowed on the beach at St. Ives most beaches in West Penwith have dog bans you have to go up a bit to find dog beaches

my favourite sites in this area trevella near crantock. then we have used the C&CC site at watergate bay,.next door is watergate bay caravan park with a very handy little shop.
the beach there and location is stunning. even though its close to newquay its quite quiet.

Look at Silverbow Park Goonhavern. Been every year for last 15 years. Daughters went as kids and now go as adults. Huge pitches, idyllic location 5mins drive to beach, has fab swimming pool, rabbits, ducks, the lot.

Hey I even named myself after the site !

Tel 01872 672347 for brochure, you will not be disappointed
