There used to be a campsite called the Red Squirrell, on the old road, just down from the Clachaig Inn (sp) it isn't listed here, but when I used it (many moons ago) it was ideal for hikers, hill climbers etc. it was very basic (almost wild as only a tap and a chemi loo!) access was by a little track and it couldn't take caravans, but you camped right down near the river. Midges were bad, obviously, but only for a short while during the early evening. Don't know if it's still going though
