Dunstan Hill C&CC is a nice one, near a nice beach, don't go to Beadnell bay though as that is very basic and exposed.

We're thinking of going to the Dunstan HIll site this year.  Never been before.  Is it quite near to the beach?

We have stayed at the caravan club sites River Breamish at Powburn and  Seaview at Berwick upon Tweed.  River Breamish is amongst some beautiful countryside and Seaview is within walking distance of Berwiick and close to the beach the toilets and showers at both are kept to a high standard. We enjoyed our stay at both these sites.

We have used Berwick and travelled down as far as Alnwick. Every beach is beautiful and unspoilt and the natives are the friendliest people I have ever met.

We have stayed in our tent at Ord House near Berwick on Tweed it is in the Best of British  guide.   There is a nice pub that does good food just a couple of minutes walk away.  I do not know if you have children but thre is a club house with an indoor play area which does ok food and is somewhere to go if it rains. There is also a big camping shop on site.  Toilets, showers etc very clean and pleasant, family bathrooms.  We used it as a base to visit Alnwick Castle (Harry Potter), Holy Island, Bamburgh etc.  Lovely part of the country.

when we go back we will stay at river breamiish caravan site.it's about 8 miles from alnwick and about 15 miles from the sea. the beaches are beautiful and secluded. you can visit holy island and berwick. right next to the caravan park you have river breamish national park and this is also beautiful.

caravan park is spotless. one of the best.

wherever you choose you will love northumberland.

The Breamish site is v good but is popular, so book early.

You could also try the Riverside at Wooler as a good base for exploring. Berwick, Alnwick, Holy Island, the Cheviots, the coast & the Scottish Borders are all within easy driving distance so loads to do. Wooler is a lovely village with plenty places to eat/drink. The campsite is on the edge of the village just off the main road.

The other campsite in Wooler is called Highburn House, not sure about this one, never stayed there although it to seems popular.
