If you are are member of the CC they do a rally on a school field in Waddington itself, booked it myself last week £7.50p per night.Rally opens Thursday & closes Monday.
The best advice i can offer after that is http://www.lincolnshirecentre.co.uk/Waddington.htm
Good luck Bert
We are not members of CC but at that price it may be worth joining. Its £40 fpr the weekend at the 2 sites giving prices. Do you know if you can see the show from the site and whether they have EHU.

Hi there
We stayed at Barn Farm, right at the gates of the base, last year - it was £40 Thurs to sunday, right on the perimeter fence, with a vintage bus service taking you up to the main exhibition area.
No loos or showers, but you couldnt beat it for location. No dogs (strictly) either! This year there seems to be two Barn Farm fields available, one of them gives half the money to the air ambulance, - check out them both!

I have taken the children to lots of different air shows and Waddington is superb, I know you will enjoy it. Last year, we watched England go out of the cup on a big screen, with the Red Arrows doing their full good weather display, in 80 degree sunshine at Waddington!
You'll have a superb time, but book early!

Bill
Make sure you leave loads of time to get in, the queue stretched for miles last year.
Theres usually a good reduction to be had booking in advance, you don't get in any quicker though.

Hi
Last year, we stayed at West Lakes, which was about 20 minutes away. It's a lovely small site, with very basic facilities, but really friendly, and with some great fishing ponds. This year, we've booked for the Barn Farm 'field' as per your previous response. We've paid £40.00 for Thursday to Sunday I think it is, and although we will buy tickets for the actual show, husband's hoping there will be a lot of 'air action' to be seen both prior to, and after the show has finished.
It was a really good show last year, although the baking heat was a bit much - can't complain about that really though !! We booked on line, and we got to the show quite early, so had no problem getting in - although we could see the queue's of traffic building up from where we were stood.
