Fforest fields is a good site too and very popular with the kids as it has little shallow ponds that they can have a dingy on - my little loved it - bit muddy but great fun and in alovely area too...
Hi everyone, were going to st.Ives/Newquay for a week in july, 2 adults and a 3 yr old, can anyone suggest any good sites 4 me, preferbly with a bar/ restaraunt on.
Like Marynov I would also recommend Fforest Fields, Builth Wells. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1674 Theres no play area but I have 2 kids and they love it here with the ponds and spend hours pond dipping after newts, tadpoles and other creepy crawlies. There are also birds nesting in full view around the toilet/shower block. There are also lots of walks and the views are outstanding. You also have paragliders which land in the sports field from one of the hills when the weather is fine enough. You couldn't ask for better campsite owners than Katie and George who are really friendly and helpful.
