We are going to Angelsey in June and are looking for a suitable site. I have looked on here but there seem to be quite a few....we like the more basic/farm sites. We don't want play areas/bars/entertainment, just peace and lovely views (with a few animals thrown in for good measure!) Can anyone recommend a good site? We have a VW T25.
Thanks

My family and I went to north wales a couple of years ago and just didn't like it we stayed on a haven site and it was rubbish so avoid those. Have you tried the AA campsite guide?

Good luck
Grant, with utmost respect, we have fantastic scenery and loads to do here in North Wales, if you go on a Haven site or similar you may as well be anywhere in the country.
We stayed at Valley of the Rocks near Holyhead, admittedly only for 2 nights on the way to and from Ireland. It has mixed reviews but we liked it. It's about 1/2 mile from a lovely beach but the showers are not great apparently, we didn't use them. £9.50 with EHU for 2 adults.
