I live near here not bad facilities pool nice arcades and entertainment maybe a little bit rowdy but dont you always get a bit of that with these holiday complexes. I hope you have a good time.
Went Aug BH last year - great for the kids - but it is a bit noisy.Little restaurant on the site surprisingly nice and not too pricey nad entertainment was actually OK - not vulgar as we have found at other holiday parks. Hope you enjoy it!

We went to Solway last August . We thought it was ok and enjoyed our stay. The pool was very pleasant. The family club entertainment was not our thing, very loud and frantic, even the kids didn't want to stay long. We only went one night though so it could have been great other nights. All in all it was fine. We would be happy to go back sometime.
We stayed at Solway last August. we enjoyed the entertainment, restaurant and the pool. Touring facilities not great. Toilet block in need of renovation. Don't hang your towel or clothes over the shower door, mine ended up with dirty stains from the soaked wood!! The toilet block was a meeting place for the young girls getting all dolled up for the night out. Some of the pitches were quite far from the toilet block, and some areas the ground was very chopped up and in ruts, but that could have had something to do with the weather. The farm wasn't up to much,
There wasn't much to do in Silloth itself. There aren't that many cafe or restaurants about. There was a fairground there, don'y know if it is permanent or travelling. Our kids too wee to go.

Never been to Solway C.P but we have been to Stanwix park Siloth..the park is nice but there's not much to do in Siloth and the only shops are Spar and Co-op
Sorry for delay, the soil is very shallow laid over the old runways, its a hell of a size butr I think most pitches are the same, try to get a peg in & you can move it half a dozen times to get it in, I took 8in nails with washers on & leathered them in but still bent 2.Seems to be plenty for the kids to do in & around the club so hope you enjoy yourself
