Can anyone please post sites they have picked up freeview and whether it was with the :

Status 315 (UFO dome type)
Status 530 - directional
or Other (home made etc)

I thought it would be nice to create a list.

I'll start - Hargill House N Yorks - full freeview with 315.

 We were on Seafield Caravan Park at Seahouses and although could not get a decent picture with the freeview box on the status 315 we got an excellent picture using an external aeriel we erect outside the van sorry cannot think of the name but it is a very popular one you see most commonly in use.

Bowdens Crest Somerset excellent using Status 315

Umberleigh C&CC site N Devon excellent using Status 315

Ebury Hill C&CC site Shrewsbury excellent using Status 315

Lydford C&CC site N Devon got some channels using Status 315

Christchurch (now C&CC) Coleford Glos not very good reception using Status 315 - better with a high gain aeriel.

This information was from last year's trips.  Freeview reception is being updated all the time.  Check the postcode before you go.  See here.

Dont bother with the lakes, they cant get it nor channel 5, not that I'm too bothered but I do like CSI.
