This is the closest site to Snowdon http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=3913 Footpath starts outside the pub. good pub try a pint of "Dark Side of the Mouse" but is tent only site.

The Forest Holidays site at Beddegelert.
http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=2828 has more facilities but is about 2miles further away. We stayed there last March when I last walked up Snowdon

It all depend on which path you want to use I think there is six paths to pick from we walked it last year from the Watkin Path took Four hours up three back but we were in no rush and enjoyed ever min

Found this was the less crowded as Lambris is normally packed with kids and dogs and my dog can be a bit of a pain round others

If you come from beddgelert to Lambris path there is a car park with a Toilet on it on your right you can park there for free but you need to get there early as it get packed very quickly you cross road over a style and turn right and follow signs

There is also a Camp Site on the farm but can not remember name of it sorry
