Well, it`s true there are some pretty stupid looking rule signs up, but I bet every one of them has been prompted by a specific incident. One that could relate to an incident reported here, for example......

"Please do not wash your dogs in the shower."

Maybe the sites should be run like an aircraft, a greeting by the owner at the entrance, shown to your pitch. Your tent is checked for security and fastened down accordingly by the "site attendants" (site/flight, gedit?)

Maybe a pre-camping demo. Shown to the nearest shower block, how to inflate your air bed and in the event of air loss, how to open your tent flaps.

Anyone not complying with the rules will be removed and left at the nearest camp site!

 these arent rules, but funny signs on the campsite we stayed on last year... wonder if any of you recognise the little site in east yorks by the funny signs?

 chemical disposal point is called.... 'chemical ally'

 gents toilet block is called.... 'tinkle cottage'
