My new Trekkertent Phreeranger arrived this morning. Made in Scotland. A few custom upgrades for 4 season use - heavier weight 0.8oz Dyneema Composite Fibre, solid inner instead of mesh & no rear storage 'porch' in favour of larger inner. 945g without pegs. Looking forward to getting out in it.

Sounds excellent! Tarp tent and ZPacks seem to be the rage these days so look forward to seeing how this Scottish tent performs.

Had a Tarptent for a while. Don't remember the model now but in retrospect wasn't what I wanted for UK conditions.



My current backpacking tent is a Trekkertent Edge (now discontinued - their original model but bugger to make apparently). It is an absolute limpet.   It needs treking poles for the front so no good for bikepacking, hence the new one.
