Andy i see you went ahead and got the Karrimor. Far do's you dont want to splash out but remember its your back/spine that doing all the carrying. That's not replaceable. Best thing to do is when bag arrives fill it full and go for a walk and see how it feels. Want to really test it. 2 quid for a bag of sand and do the walk. F.Y.I i have a Montane Grand tour 70 which i got from amazon warehouse for £48.73. Search around as bargains to be had everywhere. You are bound to find a one trip wonder bag. by that i mean someone bought used and didn't like camping/backpacking and in the wardrobe it went. I just got back into camping myself and after a few brews and some hours on the web i got a Force 10 nitro 200 + tent virtually brand new for 45 quid. It's the spec below the nitro lite that sells for 450 quid.
