Has anyone used a Hammock? I've seen things like Hennesey, DD Hammocks etc but if anyone has used one in anger I'd be pleased to hear your comments

I've been using a dd hammock and tarp setup for a while now
and can't fault it.
Very comfortable to sleep in once you get used to it but you need quite a bit of pracice to set it up correctly

Hammock fan here. Currently looking for sites that accept hammocks. Most of them don't understand how low impact they are and just say 'no' straight away. Blackberry Wood in Sussex accept hammocks however so that's a start I guess. If anyone knows of any more hammock friendly sites that would be great.

I saw a bloke in a hammock and tarp in the woods at Forgewood a couple of weeks ago - not a great distance from Blackberry Woods either.  Tis a great site with really nice people running it but their charges are a bit steep.
