I was thinking of getting a nice coloured four-pack of ExPed drybags like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Waterproof-Fold-Drybag-4-Pack-Classic/dp/B0015UK3FQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t
but I wouldn't be able to fit my tent in one of those. My tent (Vango Tempest 200) did come with a bag - is that sufficient? Or should I buy a big-enough dry-bag for it?
use the same ones for kayaking
Never quite trust my camera in just 1 but so far Ive never felt anything inside the first bag but
i tend to swim a lot lately
As for waterproofing your tent depends on how waterproof you want it, are you going to be crossing raging rivers or just walking with it on/in your pack
i still use most of my army gear when hiking
scroll down for the 110L
after 10 years of use going strong as ever use 3 of these for kayaking expeditions

I put my tents in dry bags (in fact I have exactly the same set that you are looking at on Amazon). Keeps them dry or other things dry, depending on what's going on. The main reason I use them is to reduce pack size.
I've just done a quick test: I have an old Karrimor Beta tent, which is a 2-man, roughly the same weight and size as your tent. It's heavier in fact. Without even removing it from its native bag, it goes into the blue dry bag (including poles and pegs and a groundsheet). If I took the extras out, it would easily stuff into the blue bag with room to spare.
Argos do a three-pack of Sea to Summit dry bags which are lighter - should that be of any interest. Though you wouldn't get the 13 litre bag which is probably the most useful.
It can save space to stuff the main body of the tent into a sac and pack the poles and pegs separately. Also means you really can just stuff the tent in without the faff of folding and rolling on a windy day. Some also swear that a down sleeping bag does a lot better in a sac roomier than the one included - drysacs always a very useful item.
I can fit the my Wild Country aspect 2 (minus the poles bag) into the red M size Exped sack, its really rather remarkable what will fit in there actually given how large a stuff sack the tent originally came in.
We keep our tent in the 13 litre one. Its very light and very waterproof. I prefer to be able to buy exactly what we want rather than buying a set with sizes that I don't want. BTW Alpkit stuff has free postage.
One thing about putting a wet or even damp tent in a dry bag is that after a few hours in the sun it could lead to mildew problems. So try to dry it out and air it as soon as possible.
