Off to Glencoe in morning , high winds forecast . Dont want to cancel. Do i use tried and tested Force 10 spindrift or new Vango hurricane. Anyone tested the hurricane in windy conditions
All set to leave, decision to take the hurricane and see how it performs in the hills.
Forecast still predicting gusts of up to 40 mph,may require to camp at lower level than 1600 ft planned but should be a good test for tent. Will post a review on my return.
Good luck and hope you enjoy it. Sorry I could not give you this encouragement before you left,,I`d have taken both and left one in the car just in case. Spare pegs as well. I`ve had them snap before. Anyway, as the song goes,-----Let the wind blow high. let the wind blow low, down Glencoe with ma tent I`ll go, If I`m too high the wind might blow, and I`ll wish I had my Force 10
