I used the following sites on my walk:
Bagnol Caravan Park, Trearddur Bay - Good facilities but somewhat indifferent staff
Bodfan Farm, Rhosneigr - Helpful staff, nice facilities, close to town.
White Lodge Caravan Park, Newborough - Very helpful staff, basic facilities, close to the shops and forest, great views
Tyddan Isaaf, Dulas - Fantastic facilities, really close to the coast, very friendly owner, very secure site
Some site in Church Bay - Not sure of the name but basically it hadn't really opened yet and was just a field with a tap in the corner. It was cheap, available and I was exhausted, so took it!
I also stayed one night in the Liverpool Arms Hotel in Beaumauris, which I can reccomend heartily.
As for the pros and cons of camping as opposed to B&Bs I would say that both have their advantages as Zigzag said.
Most of the sites I stayed at cost me no more than £6-10 a night, whereas a B&B would usually set you back £30 at least. Carrying all the weight of camping gear is a chore sometimes though. You can alleviate this somewhat though, for example there is no need to carry lots of food if you plan ahead. Most nights you'll be somewhere with a village shop or similar, so you can buy food as you go along rather than carrying it all at the start.
B&Bs are usually more comfortable, but you can also be a little more limited with them. For example most of them aren't going to start serving breakfast until say 8am, which generally means you won't get started until 9am, which restricts walking time. When camping I'm generally up and on the path by around 8am at the latest and that includes the best part of an hour spent packing up.
I will also gladly offer any advice or help to as I did the path in May 2010 and had a great time. I hope to return next year or the year after to have another go, that's how much I liked it.
