Sand or fine grit from stream beds are the ideal scourer for cleaning dirty pots and dishes.
Loos, dug in the ground should be covered and the two twigs placed on top to form a cross. This denotes "foul ground".
Fresh water from streams should be gathered away from where there is large groups of sheep and should be boiled before drinking.
A temp dam in a small stream will give you enough water for a bath, although it will be on the chilly side. Failing that, public baths are good for a shower and some councils, especially out on the southern Outer Hebrides, provide showers and loos especially for wild campers.
Have a search through the internet for wild camping forums. Wildcamping has a big following and there is plenty of information out there.
If you follow the Widcampers Motto of "leave nothing but footprints and take nothing but memories" you are in for some adventures that will live with you for the rest of your life!
