Has anyone got any experience of camping along some of the UKs "classic" footpaths and trails? The Ridgeway, Two Moors way, Cotswolds way, Haidrians wall, Offa's Dyke etc.
I'm about to return to the UK after a 6 months tour in Africa and fancy a walk along one of the many trails out there; the Ridgeway is one that sticks in my mind for some reason and it finishes close to home so I'd quite like to give it a go. I'm after advice on camping along the route maybe even a spot of rough camping in the odd isolated spot.
Any advice on camping spots warmly welcomed.
