back from the bushcraft meet and had my first night in the hammock and i have to say it was incredibly comfortable.
I've made a few tweaks to it since i took the photo's,have cut off all the hanging strapping and modified the way i hang it to the trees,it now takes only a few minutes to put up now and packs away much faster.
I have to admit though i was freezing in it,i had 2 sleeping bags (only cheap ones) but it really needs a mat slid underneath, you can buy an underquilt that cocoon around the outside of the hammock but at nearly £80 i dont reckon i will be getting one of them!
ahh this is the life :)

i did wonder about that mojo but i've got to find a way to keep the bulk and weight down.i'm going to take my bivi bag and just 1 bag next time as that will trap a lot of heat in and a ccf mat should do the trick....he say's optimistically lol

There are so many makes. I have two and am sure one is a trekmates lightweight fleece liner, cost around £20 if I remember correctly. I tend to run very cold when inactive and find it probably gives me another seasons worth of warmth. It is tiny when in its mesh bag.
The other one is a no name I bought many years ago, its packs about twice the size of the other one and is equally as warm and not much difference in weight but as I said pack size is bigger.
Sorry for not being more helpful but all my gear is packed away under the stairs and will be sorting through it soon.
As I say there are lots of makes but I really found a difference in my bag with the ones I have and the smaller one is ideal for backpacking.
To be honest I think they are all more or less made of the same material, they just stick a well known brand label on it and up the cost..

I use this most of the time, currently with a very light Mountain Hardware Phantom 32 bag for anywhere I have to carry. Works down to freezing comfortably as long as I wear thermals and have good under insulation (meaning a 12mm closed cell foam mat and Exped downmat)

Disappeared under the stairs and checked the fleece liner. Its not Trekmates but Snugpak same as John in Leeds has highlighted.
