Looked at the Soul 100 adventure tent while I was there as well...Can't remember why...But I didn't fancy it...Sloped a bit steeply from the door to the end...
I'll have a look at the Coshee on that link you gave TBM thanks for the suggestion....

Plus head room, whilst the lenght of the tent (good) wasn't that high and again the sloping sides made it actually feel less room - sitting up ly head touched both sides.
Would like to see a 200 version as that is slightly higher and would solve the space issue.
the video on You Tube is the 200 FYI.
If I were you I would stick with the tempest, far more usable space in that, we manage with two of us and a labrador sized dog in a 300. Yes it can get a bit smelly
in wet weather. But as long as the wife remembers to take a shower it's not that bad.

Take a look at the Wild Country Aspect 1, 2, 2.5 etc.
Underated tent IMO..OK I wouldn't like to pitch it on top of a mountain but it handle itself well in the wind.
Not the nicest looking but does what it says on the tin and steep sides gives more usable space.
I have just bought the 2.5 from Cotswold with free 24hr delivery for £125.
Not the lightest at 2.9kg but I will be able to knock a bit off that and worth it for the space..

I have just spent 2 weeks in a Vango Soul 200.
It fits on the back of a mountain bike better than I and my kit fit in it.
Was always the smallest tent at the campsites I went to, smaller even than the pop ups and play tents.
Had coastal winds and a bit of drizzle, no problems except I bent a peg.
